Rafa Superfoods began with a simple but powerful belief: our pets deserve better food. Not just better ingredients — but better standards, safety, and transparency. Our founder, Benson Zheng, has spent years in the pet industry, witnessing firsthand how opaque and outdated the pet food world can be. Products with vague labels, questionable sourcing, and low accountability were all too common — and pet owners had little power to demand better. That didn’t sit right. So, Benson set out to change the game — not by launching another me-too pet brand, but by building a new kind of pet meal company from the ground up. One that was human-grade, genuinely transparent, and proudly made right here in Australia. From day one, Rafa Superfoods was about raising the bar. Benson personally oversaw the establishment of a purpose-built freeze-drying facility in Sydney — so we could control every part of the process, from sourcing real ingredients to crafting every batch under strict food safety protocols. No outsourcing. No compromises. Rafa Superfoods is named after the dog who inspired it all — Benson’s loyal black and white border collie, Rafa. His trust reminded us of what really matters.
